According to Daily Mail, A US Air Force fighter jet has crashed in Lincolnshire
during an exercise.
The military aircraft, believed to
be an F-15, came down around 3.30pm today as it was flying at Broadgate, Weston
Hills, near Spalding.
A spokesman for Licolnshire police
said the force was currently dealing with the incident and confirmed that one
military aircraft was on fire in a field.

Members of the public contacted
emergency services around 3.30pm this afternoon to report that they had seen a
jet come down in a field.
The plane came down in an isolated
rural area and no premises have been affected, police said.
A cordon has now been put in place
and the public are advised to avoid the area while investigations are
ongoing.
The spokesman added that the pilot
has been located and appears to have only suffered minor injuries. He left the
scene in a helicopter, police said.

A spokesman for the US Air Force at
RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk said they were currently investigating reports that
one of their F-15 fighters may be involved after coming down during a training
exercise.
He said it was a popular spot for
its aircraft to fly on training exercises. He could not confirm how many
aircrafts had been flying there today.
Plane spotters are claiming the aircraft involved is an
F-15.
